چکیده

Traffic systems have been built as a result of recent technological advancements. In application, dependable communication technology is essential to link any system needs. VANET used communicate data about intelligent traffic lights, which are focused on infrastructure during accidents and mechanisms reduce congestion. To ensure reliable transfer in VANET, appropriate routing protocols must be used. This research aims improve transmission VANETs implemented lights. study investigates the capability combining DSDV protocol with AODV boost an OMNET++ simulator utilizing 802.11p wireless standard. According simulation results obtained by analyzing delay parameters, network QoS, throughput each protocol, DSDV-AODV performs better three scenarios compared delay, parameters every scenario that uses topology adapted conditions road intersections. The 50 fixed + mobile nodes yields best results, 0.00062 s QoS 640 bits/s, 629.437 bits/s. Aside from poor addition influences both metrics.

Sensor Fusion for Intelligent Behavior on Small Unmanned Ground Vehicles

Sensors commonly mounted on small unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) include visible light and thermal cameras, scanning LIDAR, and ranging sonar. Sensor data from these sensors is vital to emerging autonomous robotic behaviors. However, sensor data from any given sensor can become noisy or erroneous under a range of conditions, reducing the reliability of autonomous operations. We seek to increas...

Unmanned Ground Vehicles

A definition of intelligence is given in terms of performance that can be quantitatively measured. Behaviors required of unmanned ground vehicles are described and computational requirements for intelligent control at seven hierarchical levels in a military scout platoon are outlined. Metrics and measurements are suggested for evaluating the performance of unmanned ground vehicles. Calibrated d...

Intelligent Control for Unmanned Vehicles

The NIST robot vehicle, a HMMWV with sensors and computer controlled actuators, detects and avoids obstacles while it drives off road at speeds up to 35 km/h. During tests the vehicle drives through the back fields of NIST detecting large obstacles up to 50 m away. Obstacles are sensed using a 30¡x60¡ field of view laser range scanner. The planner computes smooth, obstacle free paths that follo...
